SMC RECRUITMENT : Teachers recruitment will depend on decision of petition, High Court

In the matter of recruitment of  Teachers through SMC the Court Passed the order that the recruitment process will depend on the final decision of the petition.


 The recruitment process of SMC teachers will depend on the final decision of the petition filed before the High Court.High court passed the order during the initial hearing of the petition filed against teacher recruitment.


Significantly, there was no interim relief from the tribunal in this case. In the petition filed by the petitioners, it has alleged that the state government, which is going to recruit SMC teachers under the recently issued notification, is legally wrong.

Next hearing will be on 25th October 2018.

PTA Regularisation Update : Now teachers have to wait upto 6th December

PTA Regularisation case: Administrative Tribunal sought clarification from the government

The hearing on the matter relating to regularization and contractualization of PTA teachers working in the schools of the state was adjourned till 6 December.

During the hearing of the contract PTA Teachers Association, the Administrative Tribunal sought clarification from the government on the demand of PTA teachers. During the hearing in the state administrative tribunal, the PTA teachers demanded that either the decision of their regularization or contract should be based on the final settlement of the pending petition in the Supreme Court or the government should apply to the PTA An explanation should be sought on the matter related to whether there really is any case related to PTA pending in the Supreme Court. Or not.



 It is clear from the petitioners that there is no case pending regarding the regularization of PTA teachers in the Supreme Court. During the hearing in the Administrative Tribunal on the petition of contract PTA teacher association, the tribunal also sought clarification from the government on the above demand of PTA teachers.


 5107 PTA teachers in the state are appointed on contract basis. 1400 PTA teachers are yet to come to the contract.

However, the government contract teachers are paying equal pay and other facilities. The argument of the contract PTA teacher association in the petition In the petition given in the Administrative Tribunal, the PTA Teachers Association has argued that the Chief Petitioner Pankaj Kumar has withdrawn his case from the Supreme Court regarding temporary teachers.

It  this mention that a 43 posts are to be filled in the electricity board on contract basis. The written test was done on 15th July to fill these posts. CENTER AND STATE CAN GIVE RESERVATIONS in PROMOTION: SC

The Supreme Court has paved the way for quota in promotions in government jobs. A five-judge constitution bench on Wednesday said there is no need to review the 2006 Nagaraj verdict. The matter need not be referred to a seven-judge constitution bench, said the top court. The bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra said states need not collect quantifiable data on backwardness for giving quota in job promotion to SC/ST employees.

Bahujan Samajwadi Party chief Mayawati welcomed the Supreme Court's order and said, "the judgement is welcome to a certain extent since the Supreme Court didn't impose a restriction in this regard and clearly said that centre or state governments can provide reservation if they want."

Himachal Govt Hiked Bus fare by around 25%,see full details

 Himachal  government decided Monday to hike fare by around 25 per cent, officials said.
    The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has increased the fare by 24.44 per cent in plain areas while 20.69 per cent in hilly region.
    The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting held here Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, officials said.
     The fare of ordinary buses has been hiked to Rs 1.12 from 90 paise per kilometer (24.44 per cent increase) in plain areas and Rs 1.75 from existing Rs 1.45 per km (20.69 per cent increase) in hills.
   deluxe buses fare has been hiked to Rs 1.37 from Rs 1.10 per km (24.44 per cent increase) in plain areas, Rs 2.17 from existing Rs 1.80 per km (20.69 per cent increase) in hilly areas.
    In volvo or air conditioned buses, the fare has been hiked to Rs 2.74 from Rs 2.20 per km (24.44 per cent increase) in plain areas, Rs 3.62 from existing Rs 3 per km (20.69 per cent increase) in hilly areas. 
    Terming the hike in bus fare as minimal, an official spokesperson said the minimum bus fare would now be Rs 6.

Due to heavy rains in the entire Punjab over the last three days, the government has released 'Red Alert' in the state. Due to this the districts have been asked to be vigilant. At the same time, the authorities have been asked to set up an 'disaster control room' to deal with flood situation in the state, the administrative officials and the army have been asked to be prepared.

The authorities of the respective districts have been asked to arrange for adequate quantity of boats in order to bring the people living in the adjacent areas of the rivers flowing in the Punjab. In addition to reviewing the situation arising out of the rain in the state, Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh will meet with senior officials today.

हाईकोर्ट की लखनऊ खंडपीठ ने प्राथमिक शिक्षकों को बूथ लेवल अधिकारी (बीएलओ) का दायित्व दिए जाने पर रोक लगा दी है। प्राइमरी शिक्षकों की ओर से इस संबंध में जारी किए गए राज्य सरकार के 27 अगस्त, चार सितंबर और छह सितंबर के आदेशों को चुनौती दी गई थी। उक्त आदेशों में शिक्षकों को मतदाता सूची के पुनरीक्षण का दायित्व सौंपा गया है।
