Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2018:
Indian Navy has recently announced recruitment to the post of Sailor. A total of 3400 vacancies has been notified out of which 2500 vacancies are for Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR), 500 are for Artificer Apprentice (AA) and 400 for Matric Recruit (MR).
Indian Navy is inviting online applications from unmarried male candidates (who fulfill eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for enrolment as sailors. Eligible and Interested candidates can apply on the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from 14 December to 30 December 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy Sailor Posts
• Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) - 12th passed with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.
• Artificer Apprentice (AA) - 12th passed with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:-Chemistry/Biology/science.
• Matric Recruit (MR) - Matriculation Examination

Selection Process for Indian Navy Sailor Posts
Selection of recruits is based on State wise merit of their performance in Computer-based Examination, subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.
