On the occasion of Teachers Day, Punjab Education Minister OP Soni said that the suspended teacher will be restored. Besides this FIRS on teachers will also be canceled. He said that Jalandhar would get a model school for next year.   OP Soni said that the country needs quality education, for which the teachers should try to fulfill their responsibilities more fully. They said that this time the results in the states are disappointing, for which the teachers would be paying attention to it.

  He said that in the last 5 months, teachers' promotion and new recruitments have been made and this year's aim is to spend about 1000 crore this year.
