National Teacher award 2017 will be presented by President of India on September 5 on the occasion of teacher's Day.

School teachers can self nominate for this prestigious award online.
MHRD has produced a provision of self nomination for teachers.
Ministry has launched a dedicated web portal to allow the teachers to submit their nomination online and to bring transparency in the selection of National Teacher award.

Important Highlights of National Teacher award 2017
Who can apply : School teachers and heads of schools working in Govt or private schools recognized by state boards including CISCE.
