The Punjab government today announced Diwali bonus for its employees and pensioners. Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal announced the issuance of 3% installment of DA (DA) and said that the government had taken this decision under the leadership of Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh.
The Finance Minister said, "This decision of the Punjab Government will cost Rs 480 crore annually on government exchequer. He said that this decision will be effective from November 1, 2019."
